I just realized I cannot remember my ex’s birthday anymore…. I know it was around this time of year… but i can’t remember the date.

Part of me feels that means I’ve put enough distance between myself and that time to be “over it”…

… but another part of me is confused and melancholy over it. Like, I spent nearly 7 years with him… it feels wrong to forget no matter how much he hurt me or I never want anything to do with him again.
